OVERVIEW

BEI Technologies, Inc. manufacturers sensors, motors, actuators and subsystems The company's yaw and steering sensors are used in automotive safety systems to prevent loss of control in adverse conditions such as ice or high-speed.  Such systems are often referred to as Electronic Stability Control Systems.

BEI has several different divisions. These include the Duncan Electronics Division, Ideacod SAS, the Industrial Encoder Division, the Kimco Magnetics Division, the Newall Measurement Systems, the Precision Systems and Space Division, the Systron Donner Automotive Division and

the Systron Donner Inertial Division. Sensors are primarily developed at the Systron Donner divisions.
