Technology related to CMOS MEMS Microgravity Accelerometer with a high-precision DC response and
capability to measure accelerations a 1 micro-g levels. The proposed CMOS MEMS device is designed to reduce the size, mass and power of instruments used for measuring acceleration on spacecraft. The device is also reported to have applications in GPS navigation, oil exploration, earthquake prediction, tilt measurement and platform stabilization.
