Silicon Border Announces New Hire in Effort to Build High
Tech Business Relationships
Octavio Garza, once deputy director responsible for Sony Electronics manufacturing operations,
has been named as Vice President of Business Development and Administration at Silicon Border. There, his duties will include
business development, while he oversees Silicon Border’s Mexicali, Mexico operations, which are based at CETYS University
in Mexicali, Baja California.
Silicon Border’s offers the semiconductor, flat panel display,
telecom, optoelectronic and biotechnology industries a 10,000 acre park where they can easily do business with each other
and easily tap into Mexico’s high technology university talent.
