Raymor Industries Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RAR) has reported that its
subsidiary, AP&C Advanced Powders and Coatings Inc. (AP&C), as a result of over six months of pre-qualification steps,
has begun to fill its contracts to SIEMENS Power Generation, one of the world’s largest power plant technology and services
company. According to Stephane Robert, President of Raymor Industries, Raymor will provide coating services as part of the
contract, "We are proud to have positioned AP&C in the power generation turbine market with a leader such as SIEMENS PG.
For us, the potential for our coating services in this application is very large, given that the turbine market for power
generation represents a very important global market." Thermal spray coating services are used in the repair and overhaul
of turbine components.
SIEMENS Power Generation has over 30,000 employees and recorded
revenue of 7.5 billion Euro in 2004. The company has over 600,000 megawatts of capacity installed in various locations around
the globe.
