MicroDental Reports Record
Breaking Fiscal 2005 Revenue
MicroDental Laboratories, which considers itself one
of the leading advanced cosmetic dental laboratories, has announced that revenue for its fiscal year 2005 ended June 30 was
a record. The company indicated that its growth was led by its Micro Advanced Cosmetics (MAC) Division. The company attributes
that division's growth to its advanced materials development, CAD/CAM and color matching technology. The company indicates
that its MAC Veneers are recommended three times more often by dentists than other porcelain high-end veneer brands.

Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. (NASDAQ:FMTI)(TSX:FMI), a
company that has a cholesterol-lowering ingredient now used in yogurt, has reported a 112 percent increase in its second quarter
revenue. The company’s revenue, in Canadian dollars for the three months ended June 30, 2005, was $6.73 million compared
to $3.18 million for the same period in 2004. For the latest six month period, also ended June 30 2005 and in Canadian dollars
was $11.45 million compared to $6.44 million for the six months ended June 30, 2004. The company for the entire 2005 year
has maintained its revenue guidance at between $21 million and $22 million.
Commenting on the quarter was Charles Butt, CEO
at Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. "In the second quarter, we demonstrated record growth in our ingredient business and increased activity
in our core research and development programs. The granting of the European patent for FM-VP4 is a significant milestone in
the drug's development path. The successful grant of the patent parallels the Company's progress in its efforts to complete
its IND application for FM-VP4's planned US Phase II trial."
The company in its report noted that Kesko of Finland
launched a yogurt that includes its cholesterol-lowering ingredient in May 2005.
