On September 10th, according to news from LG Electronics' official website, NEWoMan TAKANAWA, a commercial complex near Takanawa Gateway Station in Tokyo, Japan, is set to open soon. LG Electronics has supplied transparent OLED signs and its Micro LED display series "LG MAGNIT" for this new landmark building.

Among the installations, LG Electronics has mounted a 380-inch transparent OLED display in the event hall on the 3rd floor of the building’s North Wing. This display offers visitors an innovative spatial experience, enabling a unique integration of virtual and physical realities. Specifically, LG Electronics has assembled 16 units of 55-inch transparent OLED signs into an 8×2 array to form this large-scale display.

LG Electronics stated that, leveraging their transparent property, the transparent OLED signs can blend naturally into any environment. Their modular design supports seamless splicing on all four sides, allowing for infinite expansion into transparent video walls of any size.

Meanwhile, the LG MAGNIT Micro LED displays have been installed at the 2nd-floor entrances of the building’s North Wing and South Wing respectively. A vertical display—measuring 2.4 meters in width and 7.45 meters in height—has been placed in the North Wing. In the South Wing, a horizontal LG MAGNIT display (9 meters wide and 2.02 meters tall) has been installed along the customer flow path to enhance spatial immersion.

It is reported that LG MAGNIT is a series of Micro LED displays launched by LG Electronics, available in various application scenarios and models. Fabricated with Micro LEDs smaller than 100 micrometers (μm) in width, LG MAGNIT features self-illumination, sharp image quality, high color reproduction, and precise image processing.

This May, LG Electronics launched the 136-inch MAGNIT all-in-one conference display in the European and American markets. This product adopts active AM glass-based driving technology and boasts a pixel pitch of P0.78.

This July, LG Electronics installed North America’s largest MAGNIT Micro LED display inside AT&T Stadium (home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys) in the United States, providing spectators with an immersive visual experience.
