Gaming monitors achieved robust growth, with annual shipments hitting 41 million units, soaring 50.2% year-on-year and taking up 31.1% of total shipments.

According to the institution, the core driver behind desktop monitor growth in 2025 is the industry shift toward multi-functional, high-value display devices. The explosive surge in gaming demand has greatly accelerated the popularization of high-performance monitors. Having evolved from a niche track into mainstream products, gaming monitors have become the primary growth engine and a vital force driving the industry recovery.
As graphics cards grow more powerful, gaming monitors continue to iterate and upgrade. Displays with refresh rates above 120Hz have been widely adopted. Larger screen sizes and faster response speeds fully satisfy the strict fluency requirements of modern game content. In terms of panel solutions, OLED and QD-OLED panels are capturing LCD market share by virtue of outstanding black performance and ultra-fast response speed.
